His brother J/43953 F/O John Joseph Casey also lost his life while on the strength of 431 Squadron, 31 March 1945. |
Ray was a well known athelete in Ottawa and represented St. Patrick's College, Ottawa. He also payed with the college rugby team which won the EOSSA championship in the 1936-7 season, and played as goal keeper on the college's hockey team. He was a devout member of St. George's parish church. |
